Looks almost Fiat 1100-esque.

Wait, why does a F512M have popups?

Pop-ups are great... until you actually have them. Driving on the highway in my 924 and turning on the headlight actually slows the car down by about 5-10mph. So instead of a loud-ass exhaust at 3000rpm, its a louder-ass exhaust at 3500-4000rpm. They look great, but it’s like attaching trash bins to the front of your car.

I agree that pop up headlights are awesome... but only when they’re closed.

I love popup headlamps. But they suck on a car that you drive all the time. On my Miata the light shakes a little at speed and on bumps which is annoying on dark roads, and the wind buffets over them and makes more noise. Not to mention if they stop working...
For a fun car to play with, they are a cool quirk that adds theater to the experience. On a daily, they just get old.

I love how much character they can add. The 2000GT becomes adorable, the NSX smug, the 8 series wise. So great
